John Lennon was an English musician and singer-songwriter, best known as a founding member of the Beatles, one of the most influential rock bands of the 20th century. His career spanned the 1960s and beyond, during which he contributed significantly to the development of popular music and culture.
In 1966, Lennon sparked controversy with a remark about the Beatles being "more popular than Jesus," which led to backlash including the burning of Beatles products in Alabama. His father, Freddie Lennon, passed away in 1976. Decades later, in 2020, an album titled 'Gimme Some Truth' was released, associated with John Lennon.
